3 hours kitesurfing a day just not enough?
At Tantrum Kitesurf Tarifa we really don't believe that 3 hours a day is enough to learn. Most kitesurf schools give 3 hour lessons and when the 3 hours are up the whistle goes and that's that, whether you're just about to nail that next move or have spent half the lesson untangling lines or waiting for wind, 3 hours is 3 hours..done, finished and you are left to foot the bill.
We simply don't believe that's the way to learn to kitesurf. We'll be down be the beach helping you for as long as it takes to get you kitesurfing meaning that your chances of learning to kitesurf in your time with us in Tarifa go through the roof (our success rate for a 6 day course of having people up on the board is pretty much 100%).

Flat Water
Now Tarifa isn't known as a flat water spot but we've been here long enough to find the few locations where for most of the season and in the right conditions we can teach you in one of several flat water lagoons. Over the summer months we have access to a safety boat which means we can teach off the main town beach where the water can be perfectly flat. This gives you that extra bit of help when trying to master the water start and can make all the difference when your trying to stand up on the board for the first time.
